Message	I don't know if anyone else has read about hypermiling, and while it isn't a good way to make friends on your commute, I have nearly doubled my gas mileage. And I was always a conservative driver before. Basically, I now drive between 50-55 on the interstate and coast down hills with the motor off (this is in a 93 Celica ST). That has made the biggest difference. I also do my best to time lights, coast in town, drive at a constant speed in traffic, and avoid braking. It's amazing what a difference you can make, regardless of car type, engine type, etc. And at 0 cost. That's a winner for me; screw hybrid cars. $$$$
